Summer Camp at Westside School

Summer Camp is returning to Westside School in 2016! Camps are open to incoming kindergarten students and up.  We have some exciting offerings and ways to register, including an early bird special. If cancellation occurs prior to two weeks of camp date a refund will be issued minus a $50.00 deposit. 

Westside will be offering ten exciting, theme based weeks of Adventure Camp, starting June 13 and running all the way to August 26. Westside School Adventure Camp is run and staffed by Westside’s own team of Instructional Assistants and Extended Day employees. Our weekly themes are designed to offer an exciting, fun, and educational focus on a weekly basis. On-campus activities and field trips are planned around the weekly theme, so each week will offer a unique experience. Typically, campers will go on 2 field trips a week, and spend 3 days on campus. Camp hours run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and Westside offers before and after-hours care beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. for an additional fee. Up in the Air   -  June 13-17

      Gaze upon Seattle from some of the best views in town. Our city is a beautiful place, let's climb the skies to take it all in.

Seattle History   -  June 20-24

      Discover the city’s interesting origins. We'll learn about how Seattle came to be the city it is today, 

Animal Expedition #1   -  June 27—July 1

       Who doesn’t love animals? From the cute and cuddly to the huge and ferocious we'll explore animals all week long.

The Arts   -  July 11-15

       Experience Seattle’s artistic flair. Spend some time enjoying the best of what the city has to offer and we'll make some of our own art too.

Sports!  -  July 18-22

        Dingers! Touchdowns! Goooooal! If you like to watch or play sports this is the week for you.

Animal Expedition #2  -  July 25-29

       One week of animals wasn’t enough. Unleash your inner zoologist for another week of animal fun with friends.

Technological Wonders  -  August 1-5

       Explore our ever advancing world. Learn about the history of some of your favorite devices. A little screen time never hurt anyone!

Culinary Westside  -  August 8-12

       Eat to live or live to eat? Either way have fun with food. Fine tune your palette by making and tasting food.

Fun with Science  -  August 15-19

       Stretch your brain with botany, chemistry and more. Test your science skills and put the scientific method to good use.

The Final Countdown  -  August 22-26

        Send summer out with a bang! Squeeze all you can out of summer break. We'll hit some of kids favorite activities in town!
