As a part of the Chess Wizards program, you will participate in epic chess games, fun and interactive lessons, tournaments, team matches, trivia and more! Our specialized classes are a blast for everyone as young as kindergarten and as old as eighth grade. Whether you have been playing chess for your entire life and want to improve, are brand new to the game, or you just want to have a fun experience with your friends - Chess Wizards is the place for you!

Hip Hop Dance is a style of dance that implements a wide range of urban styles of dance. The most common styles being: breaking, locking and popping. Hip Hop Dance had no formal beginnings as it was formed on streets in urban neighborhoods. Session 1 was a huge hit, and filled up so quickly, we’re offering a second session for those who may have missed out, or current students who want to come back for more! TAZ is a quality, affordable after-school tennis program sponsored by USTA/PNW in partnership with local parent teacher groups and school districts. TAZ gets kids active and learning a sport in a fun and friendly setting.

Have you always wanted to make your own scarves and hats? In this class students will learn basic knitting skills. First they will learn how to finger knit, then learn how to knit with knitting needles. Skills include cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.

Create free standing sculpture and 3 dimensional wall art by cutting, shaping and molding paper. Students will learn a variety of techniques, as well as color, balance and composition in sculpture.

Put your knitting skills to work! Learn to make a stylish hat to fit your own or someone else's head. Students will learn to knit in the round on both circular needles and double-pointed needles. Prior knitting experience required.

Calling all space explorers! In this program, students will blast off into the science of space travel! Students will have a universe of fun learning about the scientific method, teamwork, and physical science.They will learn what it takes to become an astronaut, explore what it means to live and work in space, sample astronaut food, research how a rocket works, and engineer a model spacecraft. The course will conclude with the students leading a mock space flight, testing their skills as both astronaut and mission control commander. Join us as we prepare for liftoff!

What do you get when you mix a wolverine, salamander, bird, and a shark? A monster of course! Students will use iPads (provided by C.A.N) to take animation photos, edit video/sound, and create unique music scores based on the class theme. Set, character and story construction will be taught. Age: Kindergarten through Fifth Grade
In this class we will learn about and prepare dishes from cuisines from all over the world, including East Asia, Southeast Asia, India, the Levant, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. The class will focus on simple, traditional foods from each location. Students will learn how ingredients differ according to what is available in different parts of the world, and the ways that cooks have found to use this to their advantage.
