1. How many pizza days are there during the school year?

There are 19 pizza days this year. The dates are 9/18, 10/2, 10/16, 10/30, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11, 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 2/5, 2/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/23, 5/7, 5/28, and 6/4. Please see the homepage to add these dates to your calendar.

2. Why are there 19 pizza days vs. 18 last year?

Due to rising pizza costs, we need to increase the number of pizza days to maintain our current fundraising levels. To support our efforts without adding extra costs for students, we’ve opted not to pass on these price increases. Pizza Day is the main fundraiser for the Westside Families Association (WFA), and the proceeds go towards community-building events for the Westside School. Examples of community building events include Fall Fest Spooktacular, Movie Day, and Skate Night. The WFA also organizes educational parent workshops, and other community building events.

3. What is the price for all 19 pizza days?

$99.75 or $5.25 per day, which is on par with Pizza Day in 2023 - 2024.

4. How many slices can I order?

As many as your child would like to order. 

5. How many slices of pizza will my child receive each pizza day?

If you ordered one slice, they will receive one slice of pizza per each pizza day. If you ordered two slices, they will receive two slices of pizza per each pizza day, and so on. In addition to pizza, each student also receives applesauce as part of their lunch.

6. Can I add slices to my child’s order during the year?

Yes, you can use the order link, which can be found here.

7. I missed the first pizza day! Is it too late to order?

No, you can still participate in pizza day — the pricing on the website will be prorated after each pizza day.

8. What if my family cannot afford pizza?

We believe that all students, no matter their financial situation, should be able to participate in Pizza Days. If participating in Pizza Days is a financial burden, please use the discount code Pizzaaid to receive free pizza.

9. I’d like to add a slice of pizza to my order, but only for a specific day - can I do that?

Yes! We’ve added the ability for you to either purchase a package of Pizza Days (which will get automatically prorated, depending on your sign up time) or add a single slice of pizza. Please see our order page for more details, which can be found here.

10. My student has an egg allergy. Is there egg in the pizza?

No - we’ve confirmed that there is no egg in the pizza and pizza dough.

11. Does the $99.75 package cover the entire school year?

Yes, the $99.75 package gives your student one slice of pizza for all of the 19 Pizza Days in the school year.

12. My student would like two slices of pizza for all of the Pizza Days. How do I submit that order?

Head to our ordering page and select the type of pizza that your student wants (e.g., cheese, pepperoni, etc.) Next to your selection, update the text box from “0” to “2”.

13. What is the difference between the $99.75 order and the $5.25 order?

$99.75 is the price for 19 pizza days (or pizza for the full school year). $5.25 is the price for just one pizza day.

14. When does pizza day sign up close?

Orders for pizza day close by noon on the Sunday before pizza day. For example, if pizza day is on 9/18, orders close by noon on 9/15.

15. Is there dairy free cheese on the dairy free pepperoni?

The dairy free pepperoni pizza will only pizza sauce and pepperoni on the pizza crust.
